From Monday 12th April non-essential retail can re-open…
In order to re-open for business it is essential we help prevent transmission of COVID-19.
To support outbreak management and Harrogate Borough Council, we must comply with the Collection of Contact Details Regulations which require us to display an NHS QR code poster and request that all customers and visitors check in to our showroom.
Before being allowed to re-open we must:
- Display an official NHS QR code poster
- Request that all customers and visitors scan the NHS QR code or provide their contact details
- Keep a record of all staff including shift times
- Provide an alternative method to collect contact details which doesn’t require ownership of a smartphone
- Keep information securely for 21 days before destroying it, and provide it to NHS Test & Trace if requested
Information about visiting us
You must provide one of the following methods to check in when you visit us.
If you have a smart phone, you should download the NHS COVID -19 app before you visit us.
If you do not have a smart phone, we must record your name and contact details.
These Regulations are essential for protecting public health objectives and safe re-opening of businesses. To support outbreak management, we must comply with the Collection of Contact Details Regulations which requires us to display an NHS QR code poster and request that customers and visitors check in to our premises. Any breach of these Regulations will result in penalties.
The Regulations were amended 29 March 2021 and we must now request that every individual scan the NHS QR code or provide their contact details upon arrival, not just the lead member of the group. This is to make sure that every person can receive timely public health advice if they may have been exposed to COVID-19.
Exemptions include children under the age of 16 and people entering the venue for drop off / takeaway only.
We still offer free local, contactless home deliveries for those self isolating within the Harrogate area. For customers needing a stairlift, we offer remote survey appointments.
Our door-to-door collection service is suspended until further notice.
